Animal Rights , or animal rights , is a philosophical idea that all animals being used or considered as human property, comprising concurrently the corresponding movement fighting to prevent this. The movement is a radical social movement which so far do not just want to obtain animals better conditions, but also to incorporate species other than humans into the moral community by providing their basic interests – for as the interest of avoiding suffering – the same as the consideration in humans. The movement believes that animals either legally or ethically should be considered as human property or treated as human resources purposes.
Critics of the concept of animal rights argue that animals are conscious , are part of a social contract or make moral choices, and thus can not have rights. Those who espouse this view argue that it is not in itself wrong to use animals as food , a theme park and research purposes , although people may be obliged to make sure they do not suffer unnecessarily. This view is called general welfare viewpoint and held by some of the oldest animal rights groups.
