Vegetarians’ International Voice for Animals

Viva! or Vegetarians’ International Voice for Animals , a British animal rights group that focuses on promoting veganism. It was founded by Juliet Gellatley 1994. Viva! conducting undercover investigations to expose abuses of factory-farmed animals, and produces information on how to go vegan including recipes and shopping guides. It is registered at Companies House as a private company with limited liability, with registered company number 01787309.

Overview

Viva! Based in Bristol, with a branch in Poland. The group is actively campaigning organization that works with issues that factory farming and slaughter. Promotions include End Factory Farming, eat green, foie gras free Britain, exotic meats, Ban farrowing crates, dark side of dairy and youth campaigns including The Big Coverup.

Viva! organizes biannual National “Incredible Vegan Road Show” in London, along with other regional roadshows across the UK that aims to help people become vegetarian or vegan. In addition to producing brochures, guides, reports, web pages and other material, the group publishes a three-yearly magazine titled Viva! LIFE , which contains the latest research and promotional information, as well as vegan recipes. Viva! enjoys the patronage of many renowned artists, including Martin Shaw, Heather Mills, Michael Mansfield QC, Jerome Flynn, Hayley Mills and Paul McCartney. [2] [3]
